Lewisville Police have arrested 24-year-old Roger Jesus Herrera-Rodriguez of Irving in connection with the stabbing death of a man at a birthday party on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Herrera-Rodriguez is facing a charge of Murder.
At approximately 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a disturbance and reports of gunshots in the 2100 block of Uecker Drive. Upon arrival, they found a 28-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Herrera-Rodriguez is currently in the Denton County Jail. His bond has been set at $500,000. According to Fianzas, a bail bond provider that services the Hispanic community, he will need to come up with 10% to 15% of that amount to be freed from jail.
Investigators are working to determine the events leading up to the stabbing and other related details of the incident. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will confirm the identity of the deceased.
