Construction has officially begun on the H-E-B Mid Cities grocery store, located at the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Boulevard near the Glade Parks development.
The 126,000-square-foot store will straddle the Bedford and Euless city lines and include several key features, such as an H-E-B Fuel station, car wash, pharmacy drive-thru, expanded grocery pick-up area, and a True Texas BBQ restaurant with a dedicated drive-thru.
Inside, shoppers can look forward to H-E-B staples like fresh tortillas, sushi, a full-service bakery, and other signature offerings.
The store is expected to open in mid-2026, with additional updates on construction progress anticipated as the project moves forward.
