On Sunday morning, February 9th, at around 11:21 a.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call at the Wildland Branch Apartments, located at 2910 Watermark Drive in northwest Fort Worth. Upon arrival, officers found a man deceased on the third floor of an apartment building.
Investigators later determined that the victim had broken into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. The ex-girlfriend, along with another male, confronted the victim. The male companion of the ex-girlfriend pulled a handgun and shot the victim, fatally wounding him.
No arrests have been made, though the male shooter is cooperating with police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
