Two Arrested in Fort Worth Following Bedford Car Break-Ins; Drugs and Stolen Items Seized

Bedford Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a series of car break-ins that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, June 25th, in the Mill Ridge and Sweet Wood Drive area. The arrests were made with the assistance of Fort Worth Police after security footage and FLOCK cameras helped track the suspects.

The investigation began when officers reviewed security footage from several homes, which showed a man breaking into multiple vehicles before leaving in a white, four-door Pontiac. Using FLOCK cameras, officers successfully tracked the vehicle to a hotel in Fort Worth.

Bedford detectives then searched a hotel room, where they discovered stolen items linked to two of the Bedford car burglaries. Also recovered were stolen debit cards, Social Security cards, other forms of ID, a MacBook, an iPad, iPods, cash, a gun, 45 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of fentanyl, and 1 gram of heroin.

A man and a woman, both from Fort Worth, were arrested. They face multiple charges, including manufacturing and delivering drugs, illegal gun possession by a felon, and breaking into vehicles with a previous conviction.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed. The Bedford Police Department extended its gratitude to the Fort Worth Police Department for their assistance and to the Bedford residents who provided their home security camera footage.
