DALLAS, TX – One man was killed and four others were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning at a strip mall in East Dallas.
Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. on October 12 to reports of gunfire at the 8300 block of La Prada Drive. When police arrived, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Four people were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The fifth victim, identified as 21-year-old Jacob Cuellar, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dallas Police said the investigation remains active under case number 147041-2025. Detectives have not released details about a possible suspect or motive.
