HALTOM CITY, TX — On July 8, 2025, 34-year-old Rashawn Dante Marvin Williams pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The incident occurred on November 28, 2024, while Williams and a woman were preparing food for homeless veterans at a location in Haltom City. During an argument, Williams retrieved a firearm, cocked it, struck the woman with it, and then pointed and threatened her with the weapon.
The case was investigated by the Haltom City Police Department and prosecuted by Jaimie Jernigan of the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, with assistance from DA Investigator Victor Espino-Nevarez.
