On Sunday, July 13, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Garland Police and Fire personnel responded to a report of a possible deceased individual beneath a bridge in the 2600 block of Anita Drive and Saturn Rd.
Emergency crews discovered partial human remains entangled in debris in a creek. The remains, believed to be those of an adult, were in poor condition. Investigators suspect that recent heavy rainfall may have carried the remains downstream from a location north of the discovery site.
Garland Police detectives are working with the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity of the individual and the cause of death.
UPDATE: Detectives have confirmed that the partial remains found in a creek on July 13 belong to an adult male. His identity has not yet been determined, and investigators are asking for the public’s assistance.
The male has a tattoo on his upper left thigh that appears to depict claws and possibly a wing or similar feature. However, due to the level of decomposition, the details are difficult to distinguish.
Anyone with information that may help identify the individual is urged to contact Detective Lingenfelter with the Garland Police Department at 972-205-4021 or 972-485-4840.
