FRISCO, TX – A Frisco man has been arrested and charged with murder after police say he fatally stabbed his mother at a residence on Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at approximately 6:31 p.m., Frisco police officers were dispatched to an unresponsive person at a home in the 13500 block of Valencia Drive. While officers were en route, the reporting party identified his wife as deceased and his son as the suspect.
Upon arrival, officers were confronted by the suspect, identified as Ryan Jackson, 28, at the front door. Officers entered the home and located the victim, 63-year-old Marie Placide-Jackson, who was deceased from multiple stab wounds.
Based on information gathered during the initial investigation, Jackson was taken into custody for Murder, a first-degree felony. He was transported to the Frisco Detention Facility without incident.
The Frisco Police Department stated that there is no threat to the public and that the investigation is active and ongoing.
