Dallas Police Operations Lead to 22 Arrests in Prostitution Crackdown

DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Police Department’s Special Investigations Division and the Northwest Division Prostitution Taskforce conducted a multi-day, targeted operation in July 2025 that resulted in 22 arrests related to prostitution and human trafficking.

The operations, which focused on the Northwest and Southeast Patrol Divisions, led to the arrest of 19 women on charges of Prostitution (Seller), a Class B misdemeanor. Authorities also arrested two human traffickers on outstanding warrants and for Evading Arrest, a Class A misdemeanor. A third individual, identified as a gang-affiliated human trafficker, was arrested on city tickets.

"The Dallas Police Department is laser-focused on public safety and will continue to aggressively pursue those who exploit others and destabilize our neighborhoods," said Major Yancey Nelson. "Even if we save just one person from this life, it's worth it."

The Dallas Police Department stated that the operations are part of an ongoing effort to combat prostitution-related crimes in the city.
