PLANO, Texas—Plano Police Detectives have arrested a man for attempted sexual assault following an investigation into reports of unwanted sexual contact at the Sunshine Wellness Spa.
Detectives are actively investigating reports of unwanted sexual contact during massage visits at the spa, located at 151 West Spring Creek Parkway, Suite 501B. As a result of the investigation, Gang Li, a 49-year-old resident of Plano, was arrested and charged with Attempted Sexual Assault.
During the investigation, detectives discovered that Li was not a licensed massage therapist until May 19, 2025. His license is currently being investigated for its validity by the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration. Li is also an illegal alien. A hold has been requested by the Department of Homeland Security.
The Plano Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is asking anyone who visited the Sunshine Wellness Spa and received a massage from Li before May 19, 2025, or experienced unwanted sexual contact, to call the unit's tip line at (972) 941-2044. The investigation is ongoing.
