Farmers Branch, TX – Police are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found dead late Sunday night in an apartment complex parking lot.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on August 17, 2025, the Farmers Branch Police Department received a 911 call reporting an unresponsive person near the 14200 block of Heritage Circle. Responding officers discovered a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as Abel Jesus Villarreal Luciano, was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional injuries were reported.
Detectives believe the incident was a targeted attack and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
