Fort Worth, TX – The Fort Worth Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an attempted carjacking that occurred on Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m.
The incident took place when the owner of a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro discovered the suspects attempting to steal the vehicle. The suspects had removed the car’s window and were climbing into the driver’s seat when they heard a noise from the nearby house. They opened fire in the direction of the residence. The resident returned fire as both suspects fled to a separate white 2019-2024 Chevrolet Camaro and drove away.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Camaro with a black racing stripe along the hood, roof, and trunk, featuring a sunroof, black rear spoiler, black wheels, and tinted windows.
The two suspects are described as one male wearing prescription eyeglasses and another male of heavier build, both wearing masks, hoodies, and dark clothing.
Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle to contact Fort Worth robbery detectives at 817-392-4469.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
