Dallas Police Arrest Three Teens in Early Morning Deep Ellum Robbery

Dallas, TX – In the early hours of August 23, 2025, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Dallas Police Officers responded to a robbery in the 2600 block of Elm Street in the Deep Ellum area.

Officers quickly located the suspects and issued commands to stop. Two complied immediately, while a third fled on foot. Pursued by officers both on foot and horseback, the third suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter.

All three individuals were found to be carrying firearms, including one stolen weapon. Officers recovered stolen property valued at approximately $40,000.

The arrested suspects are:

  • 18-year-old Amari Lloyd, charged with Aggravated Robbery (First Degree Felony), Evading Arrest/Detention (Class A Misdemeanor), and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor).

  • 17-year-old Cameron Watkins, charged with Aggravated Robbery (First Degree Felony) and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor).

  • 17-year-old Zaccari Allen, charged with Aggravated Robbery (First Degree Felony) and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor).

“Swift action, both on foot and in the saddle, is how we protect our community and bring justice to those who threaten it,” said Deputy Chief Devon Palk, Commander of the Central Patrol Group.
