Oscar Garza, 22, was arrested and faces five felony charges, including:

  • Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

  • Unlawful Possession of Metal or Body Armor by a Felon

Four women—Melissa Martinez, 32; Marissa Davis, 26; Alicia Kruse, 40; and Sara Vandeneyde, 39—were also arrested on warrants for outstanding narcotics charges.

During the search, officers seized:

  • 6.6 grams of fentanyl

  • 4 grams of crack cocaine

  • .5 grams of methamphetamine

  • 26.7 grams of suspected fentanyl (pending lab confirmation)

  • Two handguns, one of which was stolen

"This successful investigation is one example of how we are disrupting criminal activity in Dallas," said Major Paul Thai, commander of the Northwest Patrol Division. "Criminals involved in drug sales should be on notice that Dallas is not the place for this activity."
