DALLAS, Texas—A shooting in the White Rock area of Dallas early Sunday morning left one person dead and another injured.
Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting call in the 8800 block of Ferguson Road at approximately 1:20 a.m. on October 5, 2025.
When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, where one of the complainants, Anthony Torres, 23, later died.
This is an ongoing investigation, and a grand jury referral will be submitted to the Dallas County District Attorney’s office. The case is documented under number 143466-2025.
