Two suspects tried to steal an ATM in Grapevine on July 24th, just before 3 am. In their attempt, Grapevine Police spotted them. When officers tried to stop the pickup, the driver sped off. A pursuit began on SH-114, but after reaching 120 mph, Grapevine officers called off the chase in Irving due to public risk outweighing the chances of a safe apprehension.
The stolen pickup was later found abandoned in Irving. Detectives are actively investigating this crime, and ask for anyone with information to call police at: 817.410.3200.
