Former Cowboys WR Terry Glenn Killed in Irving Crash

Former Cowboys Terry Glenn was involved in a car accident last night in Irving.   Glenn was taken to Parkland Hospital where he died around 12 a.m.   He was 43 years-old.

Glenn was reportedly a passenger in a car that was involved in a single-car crash early Monday morning. He was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman driving the car is currently being treated at Parkland.

Glenn played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2003-07.

Glenn scored 44 touchdowns and racked up 8,823 yards in his NFL career.

"Terry was someone that we all enjoyed very much in his time with the Cowboys," Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said in a statement. "He was a gentle and kind hearted young man. We are all terribly saddened by this news of his passing. Too young and too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his loved ones and all of the people who were touched by his life."
