The northern section of Campion Trail is closed due to flooding along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. City of Irving staff continue to monitor parks and trails to ensure the safety of all users.
Parks with closed areas and sections of the trail under water include:
- T.W. Richardson Grove, 333 E. Interstate Highway 635
- Sam Houston Trail Park, 101 I-635
- Bird’s Fort Trail Park, 5756 Riverside Drive
City staff may close any park or trail without notice to protect the community. Residents are advised to stay clear of closed and barricaded areas in parks.
