Dallas Municipal Court Offers Warrant Resolution in Exchange for Donations

The Dallas Municipal Court is giving residents an opportunity to resolve outstanding City of Dallas citations in warrant status without facing arrest or paying warrant fees. From March 1 to March 13, 2025, individuals can have their warrant fees waived by donating a new, unopened blanket or package of socks.

The initiative aims to help residents clear warrants while supporting the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions. Several Warrant Resolution events will be held across the city, allowing residents to address their citations without fear of arrest.

How It Works:

  • Donation Requirement: A new, unopened blanket or package of socks must be provided. Used items will not be accepted.
  • Fee Waiver: Warrant fees will be waived with each donation.
  • No Arrests: Residents will not be arrested at any event location or at the Dallas Municipal Court during the program.
