Dallas Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Assaulting Gay Partner, Prior Abuse Revealed

Christopher Beasley

Christopher Beasley, 37, was found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm, and sentenced to 25 years in prison on February 10, 2025.

The trial, prosecuted by Antoinette Wood and David Isaacks, revealed that Beasley, during an argument with his boyfriend, forced the victim into a closet at gunpoint and held him there for over an hour. Beasley also urinated on the victim while he was confined in the closet.

After nearly two hours, the victim attempted to escape, and Beasley retaliated by punching and striking him, causing a fractured nose, swollen eye, and a laceration on the back of his head.

Despite the victim's initial reluctance to testify, the prosecution presented evidence leading to Beasley's conviction.

During the punishment phase, multiple prior victims, including two ex-boyfriends and the mother of Beasley's child, testified about experiencing strangulation, stabbings, and beatings at his hands.
