The Fort Worth Police Department arrested three suspects for conspiracy to commit murder after an investigation led officers to uncover a plot involving a kidnapped woman and a planned double homicide.
On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at approximately 9 p.m., officers from the West Division responded to a call regarding a potential kidnapping at a gas station in the 2700 block of Las Vegas Trail. Upon arrival, officers gathered information that suggested a kidnapping had occurred. Assistance was requested from the Directed Response Unit (DRU) and the Electronic Surveillance Unit (ESU) to locate the alleged victim.
Soon after, officers found the woman parked in her car down the street from her home, asleep and unharmed. After questioning her, investigators determined that the situation was not a kidnapping, but a planned murder. The woman, along with two other suspects, had become upset over a social media post and devised a plot to kill the intended victim and his brother. The suspects purchased a firearm and ammunition to carry out the murders and planned for the woman to lure the victims to a predetermined location.
Arrest warrants were issued for the three suspects:
- Estefana De la Rosa, 17, of Fort Worth, arrested February 18, 2025
- Jesus Huitron, 23, of Fort Worth, arrested February 24, 2025
- Christian Hernandez-Carrizales, 31, of Fort Worth, arrested February 18, 2025
Investigators revealed that the suspects were all acquainted with the victims, making the incident targeted. The coordinated effort by West Division officers, DRU, ESU, and the Fugitive Unit successfully prevented the planned murders.
The investigation continues as the Fort Worth Police Department commended the thorough efforts of all involved units in stopping the crime before it could occur.
