Kevin Miguel Espinal, 30, was found guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child by a Tarrant County jury and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.
Espinal sexually assaulted several young relatives over many years. He admitted to sending inappropriate photos to one of the victims and having "bad thoughts" about young children.
The jury learned that Espinal was a registered sex offender with a 2014 conviction for indecency with a child-sexual contact. He was deported to Honduras and subsequently re-entered the United States illegally before committing the additional sexual offenses.
The case was prosecuted by Kyle Russo, Brittane Hamilton, and Stuart Neal. DA investigator Jose Fonseca and Victim Coordinator Elizabeth Garcia assisted.
"Thank you to the Fort Worth Police Department and Alliance For Children for your work on this case and for protecting our children," stated the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.
