The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on March 27, 2025.
At approximately 8:48 p.m., West Division officers responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of Portico Dr. Upon arrival, they located a gunshot victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Fort Worth Police Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the manner and cause of death, as well as the victim's identity.
