A Tarrant County jury has sentenced 45-year-old Keith Barnett Sr. to 48 years in prison after finding him guilty of Possession of a Controlled Substance 4-200 grams with Intent to Deliver and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
On November 1, 2023, Fort Worth Police Narcotics Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in east Fort Worth, where Barnett was engaged in drug sales. During the search, officers seized methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and two firearms.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Sarah Bruner and Matthew Hinojosa, with DA investigator Sean Wheetley assisting in the case.
