A student was stabbed during an altercation at a track meet in Frisco on Wednesday morning, April 2nd.
Frisco Police and Fire responded to the incident at approximately 10:00 a.m. in the 6900 block of Stadium Lane. The altercation, which occurred between two students, resulted in one student stabbing the other.

The suspect is currently in custody, and authorities have confirmed there is no further threat to the public. The victim was transported to a local hospital, and their condition is currently unknown.
The Frisco Police Department is conducting an active and ongoing investigation, with significant resources dedicated to the case.
UPDATE: The victim was 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. Austin's identical twin, Hunter, was at the meet and rushed to his brother. According to their father, Austin died in his brother's arms. The family has started a GoFundMe to help cover funeral arrangements. According to reports, the fight started when the suspect became upset after being told he was in the wrong spot.
The suspect has been identified as 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony of Frisco and has been charged with Murder.
