Dallas Police are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in the 13300 block of Emily Road in Far North Dallas.
Officers responded to a disturbance call at approximately 6:05 a.m. on April 5, 2025. The preliminary investigation revealed that 35-year-old William Calderon entered the location and shot two victims before apparently taking his own life with a firearm.
One of the victims, 54-year-old Maria Juana Hernandez-Mejia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the second victim to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Dallas Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident, documented under case number 047393-2025.
