On April 8, 2025, the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducted a joint operation targeting a large-scale drug trafficking investigation.
The coordinated operation took place simultaneously at four different locations across Dallas. Law enforcement officers confiscated several firearms and a significant quantity of illegal narcotics, including 449.3 grams of fentanyl and 230.5 grams of cocaine. They also recovered evidence related to the manufacturing and distribution of illegal drugs.
In total, 22 individuals were arrested during the operation. Several of those arrested had outstanding federal warrants related to drug charges. Additionally, one individual had an active felony warrant for a probation violation stemming from an Aggravated Robbery charge.
The Dallas Police Department highlighted the dedication and hard work of its PNI (presumably Property and Narcotics Investigation) and PSN (Project Safe Neighborhoods) Task Force, Gang Unit, Narcotics Unit, K9 Unit, Drone Units, and Patrol officers, along with the DEA, in the success of this operation.
