allas Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old male that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the 3900 block of East Overton Road in the Cedar Crest area, near I-45.
Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 1:50 a.m. The preliminary investigation indicates that an unidentified suspect shot the teenager at that location. 1 Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the juvenile victim to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Due to his age, the victim's identity is being withheld. The Dallas Police Department's investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 054696-2025.
