Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 4300 block of South Malcolm X Boulevard in South Dallas early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 3:35 a.m. on April 20, 2025. 1 Upon arrival, they discovered that two individuals had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported 18-year-old Kamron Taque to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. The second victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle in stable condition and was later released.
The investigation into this shooting is ongoing and is documented under case number 055233-2025.
