Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 5800 block of Bernal Drive in West Dallas early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 20, 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered that 24-year-old Maurisha Givens had been shot by an unknown suspect. 1 Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, where Givens was pronounced deceased.
The investigation into this homicide is ongoing and is documented under case number 055197-2025.
