A Tarrant County jury has found 49-year-old William Nevilles Jr., guilty on multiple felony charges, including aggravated sexual assault of a child, aggravated kidnapping, and indecency with a child. Following the guilty verdict, Nevilles was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences in prison.
The charges stem from an incident on December 14, 2023, when Nevilles kidnapped an 8-year-old girl from the toy aisle of a Walmart in Fort Worth. He subsequently transported her to three separate locations where he sexually assaulted her.
The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office expressed its gratitude to the Fort Worth Police Department and the dedicated detectives who worked on the case: Detectives Luker, Judd, and Chavez. Their commitment to ensuring the safety of the community was highlighted.
The case was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Steven Elliott and Ashton Moore, with significant contributions from District Attorney investigator Tiffany Johnson and victim coordinator Cristina Rangel.
