A Tarrant County jury has found 44-year-old Randy Dwayne Wood of Ennis guilty of sexual assault of a child and sentenced him to 48 years in prison.
The case originated in July 2021 when a young female reported the abuse to the Keller Police Department. The victim stated that Wood, a family member, began sexually assaulting her when she was in her early teens.
The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office acknowledged the work of the Fort Worth Police Department in this case. The prosecution was handled by John Kleinwachter and Jack Darby.
