A robbery investigation turned deadly early Friday morning, June 6, 2025, after three juvenile suspects crashed a stolen vehicle into a Dallas Police squad car during a pursuit.
At approximately 1:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 9800 block of Dale Crest Drive. According to preliminary findings, the victim was robbed at gunpoint by three juveniles who stole the victim’s vehicle and personal belongings.
Shortly afterward, officers located the stolen car in the 2700 block of W Northwest Highway and called for backup. At about 2:00 a.m., in the 3100 block of W Northwest Highway, near Bachman Lake, the stolen vehicle collided with a marked police squad car occupied by two officers.
All three suspects sustained injuries in the crash. Two were critically injured, and one later died at the hospital. The officers involved were also hospitalized and have since been released.
Due to the suspects’ ages, their identities are not being released. The case remains under investigation under report numbers 080379-2025, 080392-2025, and 080447-2025.
