PROSPER, Texas - Prosper police have arrested one suspect and are searching for additional individuals believed to be connected to a series of shootings that targeted the same residence over a three-day period.
The Prosper Police Department announced Saturday that 20-year-old Mariha Marie Bullock was arrested following an investigation into multiple shootings at a home in the 1100 block of Oakbrook Street.
Bullock was booked into the Denton County Jail on a charge of Deadly Conduct. Her bond was set at $25,000.
According to investigators, the first shooting occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on June 4 when a person driving a white Audi hatchback allegedly fired seven to eight rounds from a handgun at the residence before fleeing.
Police said the gunfire struck the home and a vehicle parked outside. No injuries were reported.
The incident was not immediately reported to law enforcement.
Surveillance video later revealed that approximately one hour after the first shooting, the same white Audi returned to the residence. Investigators believe another 10 rounds were fired at the home and vehicle during the second attack.
Police were notified following the second shooting and immediately launched an investigation.
At approximately 1:20 a.m. on June 6, surveillance footage captured two unidentified suspects approaching the same residence on foot from a nearby location. Authorities said at least one of the suspects fired approximately 12 rounds at the home before both suspects fled on foot.
Prosper officers responded and worked alongside officers from the Elm Ridge Police Department to establish a perimeter around the area.
As a result of the investigation, Bullock was taken into custody. Police have indicated that additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
Investigators are also searching for two additional suspects.
The first suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, between 20 and 30 years old, and possibly known by the name "Daniel." The second suspect is described as a Black male between 20 and 30 years old.
Authorities are also seeking information about two vehicles believed to be connected to the case:
- A white Audi hatchback
- A newer-model blue Cadillac sedan
The Prosper Police Department is working with regional law enforcement partners, including the Elm Ridge Police Department and the Celina Police Department, as the investigation continues.
Detectives are asking residents in the area to review home security cameras, doorbell cameras, and vehicle surveillance footage for any suspicious activity during the times of the shootings.
