A man shot in the Casa View area on May 17, 2025, has succumbed to his injuries, prompting a homicide investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
Authorities reported that officers initially responded to a shooting call in the 10800 block of Stallcup Drive at approximately 10:30 p.m. on May 17. The preliminary investigation determined that 36-year-old Ramiro Alonzo had been shot at the location.
Alonzo was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Tragically, he died from his injuries on June 7, 2025.
