The Dallas Police Robbery Unit has made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery and shooting that occurred on June 7, 2025, in the 9200 block of Bruton Road in Pleasant Grove. Sha Brun Booker, 21, has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
The investigation began after a victim was held up at gunpoint and shot. Within a few hours, Robbery detectives, working with officers from the Fugitive Unit and the ATF Task Force, identified and located the suspects.
Officers then executed a search warrant in the 9400 block of Olde Village Court. This search led to the recovery of the victim’s stolen property and the seizure of significant illicit items, including:
- Four firearms (one reported stolen)
- 0.5 grams of cocaine
- 200 grams of marijuana
- Seven syringes filled with promethazine
- Two THC wax cartridges
- Counterfeit currency
- $5,000 in legitimate cash
“We fight violent crime head-on and without hesitation,” said Dallas Police Chief Daniel C. Comeaux. “Our commitment to fighting all crime is ongoing and just one of the many ways we work every day to keep Dallas safe.”
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 081223-2025.
