Last week the GILCCC Government Affairs Committee unanimously adopted a recommendation for the City to amend the so-called "60:40 Ordinance" concerning restaurant food and alcohol sales in Irving. The proposal would revise the food and beverage sales ratio to 40:60 for restaurants and help address burdensome reporting requirements.

The Chamber's Board of Directors will consider the Committee's recommendation at its March 27 meeting. If approved, a resolution would be forwarded to the City Council for their consideration.
