FORT WORTH, TX – Caleb Morales, 41, pleaded guilty to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child on Friday, July 11, and was sentenced to 40 years in prison, the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office announced.
Morales sexually assaulted a young girl in North Richland Hills numerous times when she was between seven and eight years old. He was arrested in December 2023 by North Richland Hills police officers during the investigation.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Steven Elliott, with assistance from DA Investigator Matt Hardy and Victim Coordinator Carma Anderson.
The North Richland Hills Police Department issued a statement thanking Lead Detective Travis Peck, Forensics, Special Investigations Unit and Child Crimes detective for their collaboration in the investigation of this case.
