On the morning of July 21, 2025, at approximately 8:10 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 2500 block of Bahama Drive in the Oak Cliff area.
Upon arrival, officers found 19-year-old Keyunte Kevon Darnel Lewis suffering from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Lewis to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The case remains under investigation and is documented as case number 103596-2025.
