On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, a fatal auto-pedestrian crash occurred on Spur 482 in Irving, prompting the closure of all northbound lanes. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m. just past the split with SH-183.
Irving Police responded to the scene and advised morning motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The victim was identified as 58-year-old Cecelio Cabral.
