DALLAS — On July 27, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers with the Downtown Task Force observed 31-year-old Kenneth Dunson approaching multiple individuals in what appeared to be drug transactions near the 900 block of Pacific Avenue.
Officers determined Dunson had two active warrants. He was placed under arrest, and during a search, police recovered 21 individual bags of methamphetamine, 10 bags of marijuana, and a firearm in his possession.
Dunson was charged with Manufacturing and Delivery (first-degree felony), Unlawful Carry of a Weapon (second-degree felony), Failure to Identify as a Fugitive, and Possession of Marijuana (both Class A misdemeanors), in addition to his outstanding warrants. His bond has been set at $218,500.
