FORT WORTH, TX – The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide after a 19-year-old man was fatally shot in the Diamond Hill area of North Fort Worth on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
At approximately 4 p.m., Northwest Division officers were called to a shooting in the 3100 block of Ray Simon Drive. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Demetrius Webb, with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
Webb was transported to JPS Hospital for medical treatment but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident. At this time, no additional details about the circumstances of the shooting have been released.
