FORT WORTH, TX – The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday morning, August 3, 2025, in the 1700 block of E. Robert Street.
Officers were dispatched to the scene in response to a shooting call. Upon arrival, they found a female victim inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Shortly after, officers were informed that a second victim had arrived at a local hospital with injuries related to the same shooting.
Detectives learned that the two victims had gone to the location to engage in a physical altercation with a group of females. As their vehicle approached the group, unknown suspects opened fire, striking the vehicle and both victims.
The group of females and the shooters fled the scene before police arrived.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Aliyah Rayann Miles.
No arrests have been made. The Fort Worth Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
