On Friday, July 18, 2025, Dallas Police Department’s Northeast Patrol partnered with Southeast, North Central, and Northwest divisions in a targeted operation against high-crime areas known for drug activity.
The coordinated effort led to five felony charges, eight felony warrants, and the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, a pistol, and a stolen vehicle.
Among those arrested were 53-year-old Elizabeth Hoad and 22-year-old Kylar Roussel. Police say both were found in possession of felony amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine. Roussel also faces charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and unlawful carrying of a weapon, both Class A misdemeanors.
Deputy Chief Patricia Mora praised the collaborative effort, stating, “Teamwork and collaboration is how we fight crime, it’s one of our strengths. The collective total of every officer’s knowledge and experience enables us to do our job and do it well.”
