FORT WORTH, Texas — On Thursday, August 7, at 9:52 p.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at the Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken restaurant in the 6100 block of Ramey Avenue at E. Loop 820 S. in the Carver Heights East area.
Initial reports indicated gunshots were heard in the area, and a 9-1-1 caller reported a possible gunshot victim inside a vehicle in front of the restaurant.
Officers arrived and located 36-year-old Kevin Hernandez inside a car, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
