TARRANT COUNTY, TX – A devastating four-vehicle collision in southwest Tarrant County claimed three lives and left two others critically injured on Monday night, September 1, 2025.
Authorities say the crash happened around 8:20 p.m. in the 8700 block of FM 1187 (Crowley Plover Road) near Wheatland. Multiple agencies responded, including the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, Cresson Fire Department, CareFlite, Benbrook Fire Department, Fort Worth EMS, and Parker County EMS.
One victim, 52-year-old Marisol Villalobos of Burleson, was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital where she later died. According to online records, Villalobos was originally from El Salvador and worked as a Clinic Aide with Crowley ISD.
Two additional victims were pronounced dead at the scene, though their identities have not yet been released. Two survivors remain hospitalized in critical condition.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
