Green Acres Nursery & Supply is excited to welcome the community to a one-day-only celebration of houseplants at its Irving location (2800 Ranch Trail) on Saturday, September 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This festive event is packed with interactive experiences, exclusive plant deals, expert advice, and more—all designed to inspire and connect plant lovers of all kinds.
The afternoon will feature upbeat vibes with live music from a local DJ, exclusive 20% off savings on houseplants, decorative and indoor pottery, and expert insights from Green Acres' knowledgeable plant team. Guests can sip on fresh mimosas served from Double R Mobile Bar—the most charming horse trailer bar in Texas—with the first mimosa on the house. Additional mimosas and a variety of brunch items will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Attendees can take part in Planting Bar Happy Hour, where they’ll select the perfect plant and pot and have it potted up for free by Green Acres staff. Houseplant experts will also provide personalized advice to help guests care for their new greenery at home. The Custom Soil Station is where guests can create the perfect potting mix tailored to their plants' needs and for those feeling crafty, Green Acres will offer Kokedama Creations—a hands-on workshop in the traditional Japanese art of wrapping a plant’s rootball in moss and bonsai soil to make a living sculpture.
