On August 27, 2025, Dallas Police North Central C.R.T. officers arrested 41-year-old Zachery McCarter and 43-year-old Jessica McCarter following an extensive surveillance operation targeting the pair for multiple criminal offenses.
The McCarters were linked to a string of robberies and burglaries across Dallas, Richardson, and Tulsa. Detectives utilized surveillance footage showing the suspects operating a stolen U-Haul van connected to the recent North Dallas burglaries. Officers established a perimeter and successfully apprehended the suspects.
Charges include Burglary of a Building (state jail felony), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (third-degree felony), Felony Theft of a Vehicle, Possession of a Felony Amount of Methamphetamine, and active Robbery and Burglary warrants from Tulsa PD. Jessica McCarter also had a warrant out of Kaufman County drug possession. Her total bond was set at $34,500.
Assistant Chief Richard Foy praised the operation: “A good arrest is built upon the work of an excellent investigation. My officers are constantly connecting the dots and following the leads to ensure criminals are brought to justice and that Dallas remains safe.”
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue reviewing the McCarters’ involvement in additional crimes.
