Comeaux, officially concluded its August phase on August 31, resulting in the arrest of 56 violent felons with a combined 289 prior arrests. Since the initiative launched on May 1, 2025, the operation has taken 349 violent offenders into custody, whose criminal histories total more than 1,928 prior arrests.

Chief Comeaux praised the effort, stating, “The success of this operation is credited to the relentless efforts of the Dallas Police Department, the U.S. Marshal’s North Texas Fugitive Task Force, and North Texas Crime Stoppers.
