Dallas Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that happened early Sunday morning near Joe Pool Lake.
Around 2:20 a.m. on September 14, Dallas Police and Fire Rescue responded to the intersection of FM 1382 (Belt Line Road) and W. Camp Wisdom Road in southwest Dallas. Investigators say two vehicles were slowing to stop at a red light when a third vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck them, causing a chain-reaction collision.
The driver of the third vehicle was rushed to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Several others in the two vehicles sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The crash remains under investigation.
